Family short breaks in and around Lake Windermere

Families of small children and especially those at pre school age, now is the time to take advantage of a bit of peace and quiet in the Lake District as well as some great offers of activities and places to stay before July and the summer holidays begin.

In the area surrounding Lake Windermere the tree shoots have given the place an overall brightness and it is a great time to dust off the bicycle or perhaps hire one from the many places in the region. But don’t forget there’s also the good old feet to get around with more walks to choose from than you will have time to do and of course, the water of Lake Windermere for yet more adventures.
